Nurturing Roots Counselling

With deep humility and respect, Nurturing Roots acknowledges that we live, work, and play on the traditional, unceded territory of the Coast Salish, Nuu-Chah-Nulth, and Kwakwaka'wkaw cultural families of Vancouver Island. As a settler guests on the ancestral lands of the Lkwungen-speaking peoples, we recognize the profound and lasting impacts of colonization and trauma on these lands and their original stewards. As an ally, Nurturing Roots is committed to a lifelong journey of listening, learning, and following the wisdom and directions of the Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island.
